Jan Tagg trained as a printmaker and printed textile designer.
Her work has been inspired by fairytales, myths and legends and the inherent qualities of disquiet and mystery that they evoke.
She is also fascinated by the Assyrian relief sculpture in the British Museum and the Louvre. These sculptures have formed the basis for some of her recent etchings.
Jan exhibits with Sudbourne Park Printmakers regularly, both in the workshop exhibitions and in Aldeburgh.
