Chrissy has been etching since 1999 and is still discovering new ways to use the medium. She sets herself small challenges to push the boundaries and this has gradually changed her work over the years. Always occupied with getting tone and shape in aquatint ideas which sometimes work but often get discarded along the way. More recently she has turned to monotypes which allow her to capture a mood in a more liberated way. Trees and the Suffolk coastline are a constant inspiration along with anything that catches the eye.
Chrissy has studied printmaking at Central St Martins and Suffolk College. She is also a member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists and Gainsborough's House Sudbury. She has exhibited in the Mall Galleries, London and throughout the south east. Her work has been accepted for the Palace of Westminster Collection.
