Chinwe’s work varies from sculpture, paintings in oils including portraits landscapes, still life and cultural images to the print media. Her work is in private and public collections worldwide including that of the Queen.
Chinwe loves experimenting in different media and is consequently very versatile in most including the print media such as etching, woodcut, lithography and monotype. This gives her the freedom to use the most suitable method for each new project.
Her biography, 'Chinwe Roy' is published by Tamarind books, and is now part of the schools’ curriculum for 9-12 year olds. In 2002 Chinwe was invited to address the European Council Committee Colloquy on African arts and artists, she was also awarded an honorary Doctorate by the University of East Anglia.
